Proud {Pinterest} moment

So since see the revolution of Pinterest I have been pinning away so many amazing things. But sadly my well intentions of doing so many of the great DIY/Crafts have not happened. But I do want to document my awesome mom momnent. I made the cutest treats for my 2 years olds class at MOPS. The original ideas looks like this.

Easter Carrots

So this is my insperation and what I was aiming for. However I wasn't able to find pastery bags that didn't have a HUGE Wilson  medallion in purple on the front of it. So I imperovised and made it this way 

They came out better than I imagined. So I know inquiring minds what to know what I did

Pastry treat bags

Annie's Chedder bunnies

Ribbon

Easter Foam stickers

Simply fill the bags with about 1/2- 3/4 c of bunnies

tie a bow with the ribbon of your choice

Slap a foam sticker on the top

What sugar-free treats are you doing for Easter?

Lost in Domesticland

As I have been 'daring to be domestic' these last several weeks I haven't had much of a chance to share with my followers :( I am desperately trying to get my husband to sign us up for internet! Just using our phone stinks! I am not able to keep up with the blogging community like I want with make me sad at times. 

I have several projects that I need to do I'll share a few:

1. Paint my desk and entry way table
2. Make a LARGE blackboard/cork board/message board/calendar to keep track of our family
3. Make curtains (need to buy a sewing machine)
4. Find something to put on my wall, I need to scour the thrift stores for the hidden treasure waiting to be found;)

These are just a few of the things I want to do, however my time currently is spent:

• Washing
• Cooking
• Cleaning
• Laundry
• Bathing little boys
• Feeding little boys
• Dressing/redressing little boys
• Shopping
• Sweeping
• Errand running
• Outings with other SAHM's
• Church
• Community group
• Bible Study
• MOPS
• Building Blocks

WHEW!!! I'm tired just looking at that list! What do you do all day?

Thankful Thursday~Four weeks with 2 boys

Today my new baby Elliot is 4 weeks old! Oh how time flies with 2! It is amazing that I am able to get anything accomplished! But some how I am able to:

1. keep our new little home clean, 
2. laundry done, 
3. boys fed, diapered, and clothed, 
4. cook breakfast, lunch and dinner
5. Grocery shop

 I also am able at times to do things for myself with and without the boys

1. Attend MOPS and Building Blocks
2. Go shopping for clothes for MYSELF!!!
3. Go out with girlfriends
4. In Feburary attend Bible study

Its definitely harder with two, it takes twice as long to do anything, but I love my boys and wouldn't trade it for the world! I am so thankful for my family I wouldn't trade them for anything!

Getting out and about

So my sweet little bundle of joy is 3 weeks old and has already seen his fare share of the Dallas area! Since his mommy can't sit still long or stay home long here are a few places we have been since his birth!

6. Kroger-Dallas
7. Cindy NY Deli -North Dallas
8. Inwood Village Pediatrics - Dallas
9. Bible Study- Watermark, Dallas
10. MOPS- Willshire Baptist, Dallas
11. Church- Scofield Church, Dallas
12. Both sets of grandparents, Garland

Now all we need is to visit Addison, Carrolton, and Plano! But really I love being out. My favorite thing that I have done as a new mom is MOPS. I am so glad that I joined. They are a great group of women. One reason I am loving my MOPS group is they have brought me meals before even meeting me. I joined about a week before David was born, and their meal coordinator contacted me because she wanted to set up bring meals to me. This lady didn't know me from Adam, but wanted to serve. I thought that was awesome, and definitely want to be a part of a group who serves. So those of you who aren't in MOPS look it up, it is great!
